I seek tyres that give progressive feel when cornoring - rather than out and out cornering capability. These Toyos have done it for us on a number of our cars for about 4 years. They remain good in very wet weather and snow. We leave them on throughout the year now (rather then switching back to Summer tyres in the UK Summer).

I found the tyres very good, It is the first time I have used 'winter' tyres and owing to the extra grip may use them throughout the year as I only average 8,000 miles per annum these days. The excessive width of the rims used by car manufactures these days is over the top as far as I'm concerned. A narrower tyre gives far more feedback, seat of the pants feel in my opinion.'grey' Dave

Good looking, meaty, tyres. I have not invoked ABS even when pushing it. They simply will not unstick. Looking forward to some snow. Tread life looks to be about 20-25K i.e. @ 10K tyres appear under half worn!
