I ride them in the biggest blizzards and ice across the country - a few times a year, winter trails in the mountains and Masuria after several hundred km + city and suburban areas of 200-300 miles per week, often skiing in the Czech, Slovak and Polish mountains, and now, since I live on the lake, the local roads. Kopnym revelation in the snow, very good on slippery and slush, very good in the dry. Clash slower than summer "rainy" Uniroyal, and ride fast - sparing no brakes and having fun in the under-and oversteer. Family rides a reputable (higher grade and premium tyres) winter tyres and a direct comparison of the snow and slush (starting, braking, steering, kopny snow) are surprisingly equivalent or better, and cost 25-30% less! Definitely not worth buying the more expensive a typical compact car, or middle class, because they overpay. I highly recommend!
