Pirelli SottoZero performs well on dry and on wet, on the snow they are, on the ice it isn't miraculous but it allows to maintain the direction of driving, of course without any speeding. Braking on ice combined with ABS is safe. Those who drive a few seasons on winter tyres know that winter ones are no substitute for common sense and experience. Fuel consumption seems to have increased a bit, but it's a small price for safety!
