I bought Nokian WR with the intention of safe driving in all winter conditions - snow, mud, slippery surfaces, slush. Nokian WR did not meet with my expectations, still I think that Nokian WR are decent winter tyres. Maybe my car is too fast for the tyres (but it is a diesel and moves very slowly), it may be too heavy, or the tyres are dedicated to different type of snow. In Finland, snow removal is not the actual road and driving on compacted snow on the tyres is excellent. You should choose carefully if you want to buy Nokian WR, read as many reviews as you can :)
