Noe on my third winter using these tyres and I still rate them highly. I live in the sticks and most people drive 4x4's, I drive a 4x2 with these Nokians and have managed to keep going through the winter.

Signed by Nokian, made in Russia. Great idea and a good end product. No problems with balancing or when using the tyre. Nokian WR G2 SUV works best in snow - there was no road unaccesible, even where cars with snowchains got stuck. A bit more noisy on the tarmac but this is just a minor drawback - with no effect on steering. After one season there are no signs of wear. Totally recommended.

Very good tire at a good price, trouble-free use, stress-free drive, both when driving fast (also in wet) as well as when the road is covered by snow. Nokian WR G2 SUV works on the twisty mountain roads (full load and steep climb/ descent - no problems). The only drawback, which might be irrelevant, is that is may be a bit more noisy on even tarmac.

This is a tyre of superb driving performance. Oustanding grip. Slow wearing off, Affordable. A bit noisy but Nokian WR G2 SUV works off-road as well, so there must be a compromise somewhere. This is based on having done about 11,000 miles with my Nissan X-Trail. I am glad I chose this model.

Actually, there are no downsides of this tyre. I think Nokian WR G2 SUV is worth recommending if you're planning to get something for the season. Way better than BF Goodrich that I have on my other car.

I can recommend the Nokian WR G2 SUV. It is reasonably priced and well made. It works best in snow, a bit worse in slush or in wintertime in town. No problems with balaning, which was a pleasant surpris. If you don't use roads completely covered in snow then I think it's better to get a budget brand tyre for in town use only. In other case, this would be a right choice. The average user - as myself - wouldn't feel much difference. Unless you do extreme and dangerous driving in winter, then you are probably in the right possition to make such a comparison. If not, there is not much to compare and Nokian WR G2 SUV would do just fine.
