I had an opportunity to use in the snow. Worked from a large hill start standing on the packed snow. Big Wheel for the price and works as well as the continental winter tires I had on my last car. I'll buy these again if it is still cheaper than the mainland.

I bought Nokian WR D4 to replace Pirelli Winter Snowcontrol 185/60 R15, and during summer i use of Michelin Energy Saver in the same size. I decided to buy Nokian in "XL" version with a load index 88 instead of 84 to get more support and I do not regret the choice at all. This new Nokian rubber proved to be a very good decision. In terms of grip on dry, wet and snow, all compared to the old Pirelli, Michelin is compared to the summer, with respect to which these Nokian also offer lower fuel consumption and noise levels slightly lower, despite the winter geometry and the greater load index. My car now offers great comfort with the soft suspension, but it gives great opportunity for sports maneuvering, as the tread a little 'tight; nevertheless, I found more grip than the Michelin summer, which amazed me. Throughout the winter, in which I have traveled about 10,000 miles, the tread has worn by ONE millimeter. Ultimately, I could not claim to be more happy with this purchase. Last, but not least, the Oponeo service was good and fast.

Tyre grips well on wet roads no wheel spin when you move off . grip excellent dry roads no difference good grip still on tyres 24 degrees c . grips well ,not much snow ice this year no sign of wear 6000 miles is marked up m+s so in very heavy summer rain sure footed grip all the time. I do not see point swapping to summer tyres as you only have to swap back in 6mths @ £40- 30 if they last 3 yrs = 2 tyres not swapping saved up If you donot drive like a f1 drive ! bought them in november 2015
