I use my car frequently travelling around Europe where they actually tend to have winters, I often travel at a moments notice and for this reason for about the last 12 years I've only used winter tyres on my vehicles. I've found this works very well, much better to have winter tyres in the summer than summer tyres in the winter, which is illegal in countries like Germany now in any case. I've found that these Nokian WR A3 tyres fit my needs very well.

Chose W3 after comparing equivalent tyres and have performed well on mixed country road driving. Good confident drive on ice and snow. Surprised at less confident performance on wet surfaces at all temperatures but almost excellent in dry. Compared to running previously on Vredesten Wintrac Extreme almost same performance overall and very similar tyres.

Slightly noisier than my previous Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 tyres, although my harder M sport suspension with run-flats will always make the tyres sound a little noisy. But much better grip in dry and especially in the wet than the Goodyears, and at two thirds of the price, a real bargain too! Recommended.
