I hope it's a good compromise: I live in L'Aquila, a very cold city, in the winter months the temperature often drops below zero and sometimes the roads are icy; it snows frequently and I also use the car for trips to the mountains. I mounted the tyres in April, so I'll have to wait until next winter to test them in the snow. I tried them in heavy rain and they were perfect.

I have only had the tyres for a short time so it is impossible to give a full assessment, but at the moment I am satisfied, they are quieter than the previous tyres, the skid indicator is not activated, also on wet roads, which happened with the previous tyres.

Sensational tyres. Proven in all conditions except rain at higher temperatures. There is a revelation on the snow (I can not see the difference between winter Firestone Winterhawk 3 founded in the second car) and even I have the impression that Nokian are more predictable. I have now fitted these tyres on my 2 cars and my daughters car, having previously used top of the range Continental Winter tyres and a second set of alloys with summer tyres. These tyres are everything I need for all year safety and comfort, sorry forgot to say the ride is excellent and they are so so quiet. Well done Nokian, some day all cars will be fitted with these as standard -

I'll write my opinion when the first snow falls, but in the meantime I can only speak in superlatives. If everything is OK on snow, no one will convince me to use summer and winter tyres. Only good-quality all-season tyres :-)
