Nokian Tyres W+ - User reviews

I am a young driver as I 've had a driving license for 6 years now, but during this time I drove more than 1 million miles in various conditions and on many models of tyres. Recently I bought Nokian W+ tyres and I am shocked by their driveability in both wet and dry conditions. They just cut the surface like razors and driving in the rain at speeds above 100 MPH doesn't make you nervous about the behaviour of the car. I don't know how they behave on an icy road, but for sure I will have the opportunity to check it, and I think I won't be disappointed, I can also add that I previously bought summer tyres of a Korean company, and I have to admit that Nokian W+ are quieter and more comfortable despite the fact they're winter tyres.

I use Nokian W+ in a Mercedes W124 (rear wheel drive) and I have to say they suprised me in a very positive way. The handling is very good and predictable even in fresh snow and slush. noise level on dry surface on route is practically inaudible. Nokian W+ is definitely a good winter tyre!

After driving one winter season, with a clear conscience I can recommend Nokian W+. It is doing great in all conditions, there was a situation at the weekend trips to the countryside that Nokian did not coped with snow. Tread is excellent.

I hesitated a long time before I bought Nokian W+. In the end I decided, and I do not regret. Very good tyre at a very affordable price. In winter conditions performs perfectly.

Nokian W+ did their best on compressed snow. A total failure on ice, but it's ice where you can't even think about driving without spikes. They allow to drive comfortably without any worries. When the temperatures in November rose to 13 degrees, they performed as well as in January in temperatures of 10 degrees below zero.

The first impression is a very big disappointment. In comparison with previously used Good Year UG7 +, and especially Continental TS850 tires they fall very slightly. After the snow was going for them only once, so I can not say, but last winter it after driving usually wet, the temperature of + several ° C. It is in these conditions, very disappointing - break traction at only a slightly faster you try to move it, uślizgują up the curves that can be overcome with a speed of 50-60km / h (eg. on snails inertia on viaducts, entrances - exits of expressways, etc.) when braking - not safe - very easily trigger ABS. I operate them in the official car, so I have no influence on the choice of tires, but I know that privately stay with Contineantal.

Tires on wet asphalt does not stick at all. Practically every possibe with lights on wet pavement cause wheel spin and my car is not a monster. Rather I told me that ordinary toczydłem. I'm afraid that I happen to any emergency braking on wet because now I know it will not end well.

I bought these tires in winter 2011 with a lot of confidence but I covered just 10000 km that I sold out of desperation. dry well, the snow, but the water if someone decides to die here the system .... mount nokian w !!!!!!! when I noticed that the curves and roundabouts as sliding snow skis then I asked if it was a problem of the car I did convergence, I checked the cushions, but no self ok and then I changed tires, medium low-end brand and now I am very satisfied. !!!!!!

When they bought it was probably not yet signs (indexes). I suggested in that they advertised it as the successor to the highly successful tire. The tire looks for her fifth season (and last) very well (in terms of rubber and the tread). It behaves the same as during her first season ... or very little. I have good shock absorbers and revised suspension and done convergence. For wet (rain and after) when adding the gas reacts sharper break traction. Violent maneuvers during a turn end up as bad. During heavy braking pedal ends up breaking traction and launch of ABC which additionally can worsen the situation. By indexation (fuel consumption F, braking on wet E, volume 71dB) are at Debica whether the Cormorant which confirms their behavior on the road. I bury buy these tires.
