I was very disapointed with Michelin Alpin A4. I read a lot of reviews and tests and they seemed to be ok. But when the snow felt down it was a total disaster. This tyres should not be winter approved! Braking properties - zero. ABS and ASR is on all the time. I drove on may tyre in the past and none of them was as poor as Alpin A4 are. I bought new Pirelli Snow Control 2 and they were poor as well. I think that the new models are not sufficient. It is better to buy older and approved tyres rather than new ones.

Michelin Alipn A4 are a total disaster. I bought them last year to my Volvo S40 2.0D. Right after the purchase I noticed that they rumble in the speeds of 55-65MPH. I told Oponeo about that but I noticed that I will start a complaint procedure when I'll be putting my summer tyres on. I was using Nokians and they weren't as noisy as the Michelin Alpin A4. The seller was very suprised. He told me that they sold plenty of Michelin Alpin A4 and nobody was ocmplaining about them. When I finnaly made a complaint to Michelin they told me that they don't know why the tyres howl so much and they gave me a new set but it was the same. Even my girlfirend is making jokes about the sound of my tyres. Grip properties = poor. On wet road surface you can easily lose the grip. I dont recommend!

Translation

I drove on them season (2011/2012), done about 3000 km. Road on which I rode mixed but predominantly on snowy / nieodgarnięte. I'll say this - once did a much better tyre. Of course, these are not bad, but you can buy cheaper tyres the same class.

Translation

The tyre is not suitable for movement in the winter and wet conditions on the highway you can travel 100-120km / h with a slightly damp surface, lateral support is so low that as many as dangerous, pa 3 are definitely better. I drove (przemęczyłem) 8 thousand kilometers but I'm not going to risk more and just ordered another tyre.

Translation

Once the tyres hummed loudly and very beat. On the advice of the complaint department did attempt Oponeo road, where it turned out that all the tyres are not suitable for driving. The complaint was considered - and this plus the Oponeo and Michelin as a fair approach. But if all four tyres are defective high-end, something's not right.
