I have used these on a Land Rover Defender 90 Tdi for 7 years. They grip well on tarmac come wet or dry. The sipes also provide good traction in snow. They are a reasonable off-road tyre, only losing out to full off-road tyres in deep mud. Sidewalls seem reasonably resistant to rock damage. All in a good general purpose semi-offroad tyre where the majority of driving is tarmac based.
