Goodyear Vector 4Seasons - User reviews

Frankly speaking, I bought Goodyear Vector 4Seasons out of pure laziness and unwillingness to change tyres every season. The tyres never let me down since I've been using them (spring 2010). In summer, they're a little bit louder than typical summer tyres, fuel consumption is maybe 0,1, max. 0,2 l/100 km higher. In autumn they surprised me with their grip on wet surface. When irt comes to their behavious in winter, I don't have anything to complain about, good grip on snow allows full control of the car. There are no problems to even drive out of snowdrifts.

To be honest, I bought these tyres on the basis of other people's opinions, although I was a bit afraid of all-season tyres on a car that I would use all the time...- I don't regret this decision, as these tyres are simply brilliant!!!! They really do handle a lot of different conditions...- going uphill in winter, on icy or snowy roads, is not a big problem for these tyres... Same with driving on wet roads.... So, if someone has a dilemma and doesn't drive very much yet, plus doesn't have the desire or funds to change tyres or whole wheels, this is really the ideal solution...!!! I recommend!!! I am very satisfied, although of course tyres are not cheap... -but Goodyear, is simply in the super league...- and if you want to save money, you will probably change your tyres often.... :-(

I would definitely recommend it - I will not go back to changing tyres twice a year, queues etc. I bought them 18 months ago, mainly because I had both summer and winter tyres to change. I would have had to buy two sets in a short space of time. In addition, the awkward storage of unused tyres in a block of flats, the uncertainty of when to change tyres (+12 degrees in November and freezing temperatures in October, etc.), the queues, etc. I was also encouraged by tests in Autoświat and Motor - in both they had the highest ratings. I drive half and half, 50% in the city, commuting to work, the other half long distances once or twice a month. No snow in the city, more often snow was on estate streets where they don't salt - but there was never a problem with driving out, parking, even in mounding snow. They drive great in the wet. In the dry there is probably a difference with summer tyres - but they are still reasonably quiet. I recommend.

I can recommend Goodyear Vector 4Seasons to people who like "eco" driving in every time of the year. The tyres are soft, compared to typical summer ones, the first impression is perceptible change of vehicle's handling in the corners, which only helps to improve the safety of driving and control of the car. Fuel consumption - without increasing, compared to summer tyres.

Gooyear Vector 4Seasons is a very good tyre, I can recommend it to everyone! I have been using one set of these tyres on a Fiat Bravo for three years now, and I recently fitted the second set to a VW UP! As for me, the tyres are very good! Especially in winter they are really cool and for me car car handled better than on a typical Barum winter tyre. In summer braking distancea is a little bit longer than on a summer tyre (compared to summer Michelins I had on the Bravo). On wet the tyre is superb, no aquaplaning!

I have used this tyre for almost two seasons. If you're not driving crazy in the summer, you can go for it. On snow, the performance is at the level of a good winter tyre, with absolutely nothing to fear. Ideal for transitional conditions. Only in hot weather it feels like a non-hard summer tyre, but for normal driving it offers at least a sufficient safety margin, even when driving fast on motorways or winding roads. Very good in the wet (winter and summer), quiet, no problems with balancing. And most importantly: You always have snowproof tyres on your wheels, no problems with early or late changes and no queues to the vulcaniser. No need to remove and store two sets of seasonal tyres, which tyres generally hate. A very good choice for normal cars and normal drivers.

I ride mostly in the city, mostly in the summer on the road on cruise control 90 - 120, sometimes 140 (LANCER 2.0 152 horses), it happened several times in the winter to go to the countryside and worked great. I drove on them for more than 30 000 km per year and can refresh only the front tires

I trusted the tests, despite a terrible review of these tyres on the Web, and I was not disappointed, October snow won't surprise me anymore, You still need to balance the wheels, but not when there are queues for tyre changing, no more tyre change! Goodyear Vector 4Seasons are very good for snow, ice and rain, how will they do on hot days - I don't know, according to the tests they are not very loud and fuel consumption raises only slightly, so if you have both sets worn off, don'tt even hesitate, buying Goodyear Vector 4Seasons is cheaper and you won't have to change the tyres anymore.
