I've had a few different cars and different winter tyres on their background Ultra Grip 7 + is definitely very good. During the big snow for a few days I had to drive a car with Pirelli tyres (average shelf) and I felt the vast difference in favor of Ultra Gripów.

Good traction on snow and easy to maintain direction. But before I had to deal with a lower shelf, namely the Barum Polaris 2 - the size a little bigger, bo195/60 R15, but the car of similar size and comparing Barumy, I would expect the Goodyear brand a little better properties unless they polarisy in my case is a 'wychuchany' set ;)
