surprisingly good grip on snow, ice and mixed winter roads. tested under controlled conditions and extremely difficult to break the grip. abs almost unnecessary. quite understood the rolling resistance tread takm yet quiet and very comfortable. ruts and water them, they are not terrible. silica in the rubber compound acts like sandpaper, it's hard to slip.
