Since the purchase, ie. The second mid-December, a car ran in different weather conditions approx. 2.5 thousand. km. So far, both on the surface of dry, wet and snowy held properly and smoothly, not surprising unexpected or uncontrolled behavior. Probably this is due also to the relatively calm driving style, but what I believe is also the good properties of the tire. I would recommend Goodyear UltraGrip 9 as good quality and reasonable price.

I had a set of Barum Polaris 2 budget winter tyres previously mounted on my vehicle. They were OK but after five seasons the rubber compound became too hard and they began to slide in wet weather conditions. It was a high time to purchase something new and something better. My choice was the Goodyear Ultra Grip 9 as I have summer tyres from the same manufacturer. They are very quiet and almost as comfortable as my summer Goodyears. Their wet grip is astonishing. Although the Goodyear Ultra Grip 9 is not quite a sporty tyre model, it is a real revelation for me. The price was really good. Absolutely no problem in steering on fresh or frozen snow. My car clutched the surface as if it was summer with summer tyres on. I agree with the comments I found on the Internet. The Goodyear Ultra Grip 9 is a perfect tyre for all those who look for a reliable product from premium segment. I do strongly recommend these tyres.

I changed GY summer tires for winter GY and full of surprise. Do not feel the negative traits of winter tires. They are very quiet as summer. Perfectly cling to wet surfaces (the snow had not yet driven-in the survey had to fill in an assessment that was accepted). No problems can ride at speeds which they are intended.
