Goodyear Ultra Grip 8 is really worth recommending. It's very quiet, even better than my summer tyres with Yokohama. No problems with the loss of tracktion in low temperatures or any problems with electonic systems (ESP, ABS) for that matter. No wobbling or wibes transfered through the steering column. I have had the Ultra Grip 8 for six months now on my Mitsubishi Lancer 1.8. In my opinion, all the negative opinions about this Goodyears are ungrounded. If it pulls or wobbles it is not the tyre but your car and the lack of proper service.

Translation

This is the latest My Goodyear tyres and the company and the product suits me. I feel safe on slippery roads. Price translates to quality. I'm thinking of buying a summer tyre that company.

Translation

Very decent tyres. I was not able to try them fully by little snowy winter, but so much snow and frost which was allowed me to form an initial opinion on these tyres. Are generally good.

Working for one of the UKs emergency services I have to get to work in all weathers, when these tyres cost no more than the same brand summer tyre I thought I would give them ago. My car does not have traction control ETC, it only has ABS so ideal for testing tyres with. Not done many miles in the snow except for boxing day 2014 up the A50 Markfield hill. I drove up the hill in lane 2 whilst everyone else slipped and slithered in lane 1, the car was stable and secure. In the wet the perform very well showing no sign of aquaplaning at all even when travelling at speed. In the frosty mornings there is no slipping at junctions or under braking. These tyres have a softer compound and so in the heat of summer they do feel a bit soft around the corners and braking is not so good as a summer tyre. I expected them to wear quicker than a summer tyre but I still have 6mm tread left after driving 12000 miles. perhaps nosier than the summer tyres but the radio still works. I have not assessed appearance as they are round and black, like all the other brands. If I have to make a choice I would rather drive these tyres in the summer than summer tyres in the winter. Bought a set for the wife and I wont now drive summer tyres in the winter again. Excellent tyres.

Translation

I drove on these winter tires first season and is happy. Under normal conditions, do not fail me on any surface. During heavy snowfall (when even cars 4x4 had a problem) is sized tire tread and you just have to be careful - but as with any tire of the type.

Translation

Tires had founded the winter season 2013/2014. Were doing great. Moving in the wet or snow is not a problem. It was worse when braking during downhill gradients in the packed snow and the road of windblown snow. There were only 2 cases for the whole season. Moreover, in urban traffic and out of town, or the sun or the rain the car ran comfortably. Their volume is not bothered.

Despite the weak winter this year, pretty cool you have driven on these tires. The second car also have started the same only different size tires 195/60 R15 and it was their second winter. I would recommend these tires.

Translation

Tires flawlessly suited for snow and slush, slightly worse deal on heavily icy sections. They were this year in January tested during the holidays in Gorce on slippery, zalodzonych and steep roads and passed the exam - do not have to wear chains, probably stick to the track.
