The Goodyear Ultra Grip 8 is a decent tyre, although the fringe looks a bit small and hence I had some doubts about it. I fitted the whole set, together with new rims, on a Mazda 323F. They are quiet and the car handles really well on dry, slush and snow. I haven't tried them on ice, but I think this should be an issue here. The older brother, the Ultra Grip 7, also scores quite well. The Ultra Grip is definitely good value for money.

After about 1500 km over 50/50 city / on the town with a clear conscience I can write that these are good tires for the conditions prevailing in Poland. I made the purchase based on user feedback. For the moment, I have no reason to conclude that it was a horrible purchase.

In general, the Goodyear Ultra Grip 8 is quite good. Especially in snow and slush. Pulling off is safe and without any loss of grip. It keeps the direction without any wobbling or pulling to the sides. The only drawback of this Goodyear is the level of noise - if you may cosider it as one. It is just a matter of the profile of the tyre, you can't have everything.
