I checked the tyres last winter in Poland - jzda the city and twice in the Tatras, and in the subsequent tour - skiing in the Italian Alps. These are some of the best winter tyres on which I rode. Some also when driving fast, not "float". I just bought a new (larger), because I changed my car, and winter around the corner. I would recommend that certainly will not be caught.
