I would definitely recommend the F1. Tested both on dry pavement and in a downpour on the motorway. Especially noticeable is the difference between other vehicles during a downpour. When other drivers are slowing down by a minimum of 20 km I am still driving on the pre-set cruise control. A really excellent choice in this tyre category. Highly recommended.

The CLS had ok ish tyres when I purchased the car ok grip in the dry but when the rain came well skittish would be the word id use with nearly 400ftb of torque going through the rear tyres I needed something better. My mate had the Goodyear Eagle F1's Asymmetric 3 on his BMW E92 td he recommended these for my CLS and oh boy what a difference in the dry most of all the wet. When my 3's we're up for renewing I immediately upgraded to the Asymmetric 5's these bad boys come highly recommended from me.
