Firestone Winterhawk 3 is a really good tyre for the price. I was going to buy dunlop tyres but at the last i've found Winterhawks to be something new on the market. The fact is this year's winter was not too harsh but still they proved themselves during a trip to the mountains. Very good adhesion on dry and wet roads. ESP does not turn up too often with violent traction. I do not know how those would fare with a heavier car but for a compact 150bhp I can surely recommend. Already tested Michelin alpine, now in the second car I have goodyears and i can boldly compare those 2 brands. Good tyre! Firestone Winterhawk 3 are definately to be RECOMMENDED.
