I've been using these tyres for the second season now, generally it's no revelation, it's an average tyre without drawbacks, on wet it's terrible, just a little bit of water flowing across the road and the car is out of control like on ice, so definitely they are not suitable for wet (the car is a VW Passat B5 Variant), Previosly I had Nexen N3000s and I haven't noticed such phenomenons and I thought that Falken ZE 912s will be better, because before I had Falken FK 451s and there were no problems on wet surface.

I bought new Falken ZE 912s. They feathered very quickly. Now they are very noisy.

Very slippery in the wet, noisy from 80 km / h, an increase in combustion Avg. 0.3 - 0.5 L/100km compared with Continental Contact tires - only nice appearance

Driven distance: more than 15 thousand miles - fast, very aggressive driving style. Pros: + quite good abrasion (after 15 thousand miles there's still plenty of tread) + good grip on dry pavement + vary rare slips when rush starting on dry pavement + goog quality-price ratio + very interesting tread pattern Cons: - loses grip in tight 90 degree bends atb speeds about 45-50 MPH on dry pavement - no grip on wet pavement! - Frequent aquaplaning! - A bit noisy Summary: Falken ZE 912 is a tyre for someone who starts an adventure with a sports car, drives safely and carefully in the corners. For really fast drivers I'd rather recommend Yokohama S.drive AS01 or something better.

I got pretty scared when driving through a puddle on these tyres for the first time. Heavy aquaplaning. On slightly wet pavement it also immediately loses traction. The manufacturer probably did some joke by putting an M+S marking on the sidewall. On dry it's pretty quiet and soft. However, the tyre wears off quickly. That's the advantage, as you won't regret thowing it away and buying better ones. Previously I used Michelin Pilot Primacys.

Terrible for long trips. After buying a new set of Falken tyres I went on 2000 km trip - on smooth, dry German motorways. I was afraid of driving more than 90 MPH, because the tyres didn't keep their grip, the car swerved sideways like during stong wind, which made me not want to even try driving on wet or snow. Previously, I had Michelin tyres fitted, bought used; fortunately I didn't throw them away and as soon as I get back, I'll fit them back on the car. I DON'T RECOMMEND.
