At first I thought this shit all year round tyre in winter and summer. But the snow and the mud was doing so well that I never had a problem, go to the snow. The fact does not hold as true winter tyres and arches for example on snow feel that they leave, but it does so in a controlled way so do not worry about overplayed. Not recommended for strong / heavy vehicles - on my Passat those tyres would be the weakest link, or when accelerating, braking or driving terms of seasonal tyres.
