They surprised me very positively. At first, I put them on the rear, because in the front I put on a little used Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-02. But after a few uncontrolled slips even on almost dry pavement, I put the Navigator 2 on the front and it is great. (And Bridgestone is said to be great:). They cut through 15 cm of fresh snow nicely, you can also feel the contact with the ground when driving on puddles (better than the Dunlop Sport d62m in summer). The dunlop sport d62m is a good choice at a low price.
