I am always terrified driving to work in Derbyshire in the winter and usually get a lift to work. After doing my own reviews this winter, I decided I would give the continentals a try. The best decision I ever made. Not once this year did I have to rely on a lift, my tyres gave my the confidence to travel the 20 miles there and back. So thank you.

Continental ContiWinterContact TS800 is a very good tyre, ideal for a variety of conditions, including winter. In the past also used Continental tyres (summer and winter) and was never disappointed, unlike other brands (defective tyres happened to me, no balancing capabilities, loud - a claim not included) Continental Tyre (already bought a set 3 times) have always been OK.

I think that if you can find Continental ContiWinterContact TS800 at a competitive price it could be a right choice. What I like here it the compromise between certain parametres in Winter conditions, which is what I find a priority. They offer good pull in snow and the braking is satisfactory as well. They do wear a bit quicker and have higher rolling resistance than the tyres I used in the past, however this is not a priority. In general, I think they are worth recommending. Although, when I chose my tyres I look at ADAC tests first and then check my wallet. :)
