I used this winter tread not for a long time but I can trully say that Continental ContiWinterContact TS830 P is a very good tyre. It was very hard for me to judge their snow pefrormance as we had not too much snow this year. Also I will not judge their durability as I drove about 5k miles on them. I am satisfied with those ContiWinterContact TS830 P. Steven Griffith

Continental ContiWinterContact TS830 P is ok but not that splendid as other users described. On snow or mud - your ESP system will not be able to do miracles if the driver will not match the cars speed with current weather condition. A bit more gas while cornering and the car is running away. For such price I expected much more from ContiWinterContact TS830 P.

Advantages of Continental ContiWinterContact TS830 P : easy to balance, very durable, on mud and snow or dry tarmac they perform without issues. Very good braking performance on every surface. A big advantage is that there was no wobbling after puting the tyre onto my car. I have to say that after 15.000 miles still I have no sign of visible usage. Also the noise level is pretty low. In comparison to my previous Kleber, Continental ContiWinterContact TS830 P are much better.

I have to say that after driving about 12k miles in winter in 2013/2014 season where the winter was not that snowy. Thanks to that it seems that my tyre still has about 6-7 mm of the tread left. Taking into account the fact that my Pirelli PZero after making exactely the same mileage in summer were damaged pretty badly seems like Continental ContiWinterContact TS830 P are very good if the winter is not so hard. I am not saying that in hard winter conditions ContiWinterContact TS830 P will perform worse I am just saying that I had no chance to test them in real winter. Hoping for next winter to be a bit harder.
