So far the best tires I have had occasions operate. The car rides on rails. Auto seems to be a little hard, but it's a tire 17 inches and fairly low profile. There is no fault anything.

I had more economical and quieter tyres, but when I saw their performance in the tests it gave me pause for thought. I decided that the behaviour of a tyre in critical situations was more important to me than saving money. Hence the choice of the SportContact5. One reservation concerns durability. Namely, after about 2,000 km I damaged a tyre on the sidewall and had to buy a new one. I don't know if this is a matter of bad luck or the specifics of the tyre (thin and soft sidewall). I have driven about 500,000 km so far and this is the first time something like this has happened to me.

I have been driving on SportContacts for almost 10 years. I know of no better tyres when it comes to road grip. They have surprised me very positively many times. I have no complaints about the SportContact 2. The 5 version is unfortunately very noisy. Some passengers even asked me if my bearings weren't damaged...
