Bridgestone Turanza ER300 is a tyre with goop grip in everyday average use (without any crazy driving). The only drawback is, unfortunately, the noise level - and here I have to share the opinion of some reviewers - it is loud. Unfortunately. I bought them brand new (DOT 5206) and I have used them since July 2007 and it seems to me that the longer I use it, the louder it is - to compare, in current temperatures of 15 degrees the winter tyres that I took off were... quieter. Frankly speaking, you can get used to the noise over time - but I used quieter tyres (eg. Fulda Carat or Firestone Firehawk Fuelsavers in my Ford Mondeo). But it can be praised for high durability. About my future with them - I heard the new model of Turanza is quieter.

I have no complaints, subjective well on wet grip 'side', a little worse with braking. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase.

The first thing I learned about Bridgestone Turanza ER300s is the fact they placed 2nd out of all the tyres tested in Auto Express, and it was a promising fact. When it comes to rolling resistance and noise level, they are very good. They're sensational when it comes to grip on dry and in really sharp turns at high speeds. braking distance and starting is very good. On wet they are very good but if we enter the corner at a higher speed the front has the tendency to swerve to the outside lane... but it's more bacause of the specs of the Civic's long front. Unfortunately, they are really slippery on the snow, but my Honda is a very light car and 185 is not a good width for winter. On the ice they are useless. I did quite a few miles ofter the snowfall and I thought I'd get myself killed - it's just a very good summer tyre. I don't recommend 195/55R15 - I had such in a Fabia II and it had swerved to outside lanes in the corners after the rain.
