The Bridgestone Turanza ER300 I bought are H-indexed in the size 195/65R15. You shouldn't expect much silence - they're quite loud, especially above 65 MPH, the abrasion is also clearly visible. The construction of the tyre is relatively "soft". Perhaps the V-indexed tyre behaves better - but I don't have any comparison opportunities. I recommend to inflate them about 0.2 bar more than recommended - otherwise get a bit "feebly". As for the pros: they keep the given direction very well, have clear advantage over other tyres on wet. During a sudden start they squeal significantly less than any other tyres I have used. I think that you can expect a more durable and quieter tyre for such price ( I bought them for about 65 pounds per tyre). I don't know if I buy them again, despite their numerous advantages.
