Barum SnoVanis are very soft and quiet tyres. They are definitely worth their price. Apart from these tyres, I used some other brands which were more expensive and worse - eg. Debica. I especially recommend to put these ones to the front.

Barum SnoVanis are performing quite well. The distance I did doesn't let me assess their wear, but after 6000 miles they look like new. My previous Pirelli tyres weren't much better, and the price difference between them and current Barums is huge. Moreover, the winters now are not so harsh and super-grip tyres are not required. Also, one more thing about Pirelli tyres - they wore off rapidly on the rear axle of my Transporter, and they were almost square when I unfitted them. When it comes to Barum SnoVanis, I can honestly recommend them.

I read everywhere that winter tyres more noisy than a year. Nothing could be further from the truth, these tyres provide quite the opposite.
