Barum SnoVanis is a very good tyre which behaves really confidently in harsh winter conditions (I tested it in extreme conditions like driving up a 10 - 15% steep hill). The tyre is average on ice, but overall it's one of the best winter tyres I had in eight years, of course in this price range. Due to that I generally think I can recommend it as a decent tyre for winter.
