Barum SnoVanis is a great tyre but it has one drawback, at least for me. It wears off pretty quickly - I did ca. 15 thousand miles and I already have only half of the tread. I have switched front and rear tyres, and I guess I'll do ca. 30 thousand miles in total and will be able to throw them out. I do 6500 miles a month so for me the mileage is too low. However, overall the tyre is very good - it is quiet on wet surfaces and grips the road nicely, it may "whistle" a bit at sppeds above 60 MPH but it's not disturbing. It also does a good job on snowy roads. The tyre is for vans, but doesn't have the C marking, and therefore has softer sidewalls which can be sensed in the ruts. However, generally I can recommend Barum SnoVanis as a decent van tyre for a small price.
