Buying a novelty is always risky. I have bought Accelera ALPHA to fit onto my rear axis. They are very comfortable and silent. I did not fell anyhing alarming on wet and dry road surface. THe longer I was using them the more my trust the've gained. I was forced to buy cheaper tyres as I had no other option. I decided to buy Accelera ALPHA and I do not regret it. The most important thing for me is that now I am 100% sure that you do not have to spend huge amount of money to have a good tyre. Accelera ALPHA works more than OK.

The tyre is definitely worth recommending, low price, good grip, it is not loud at all - it's practically inaudible (in case someone is interested - it's used in a 2000 Seat Toledo II).

I often tow with the car either with track-day car & trailer or a caravan, The tendency to over inflate a little will make them feel a little hard, but on normal pressures they are fine. As with all estate cars they will allow the back to step out when pushing on but that's not really a fault of the tyre. The tread pattern tapers off a little on the sides and this will soon render the tyre illegal if you have any tracking/wheel alignment issues so be sure to get that checked and they should give you miles of trouble free driving.
