The Pirelli P7 Cinturato has been designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible, both during production and when in use. The tyre has a range of features that ensure high performance, driving precision and an enjoyable driving experience. The model is an excellent choice for drivers who favour a sporty style of driving and value high performance specifications alongside safety on the road.
The model has been produced using an innovative hybrid material, which ensures lower tread wear and greater resistance to mechanical damage. This means that drivers can enjoy the full range of performance features of the Pirelli P7 Cinturato for longer and the tyre maintains its specifications at any speed. The tread pattern with its characteristic block layout reduces rolling resistance (resulting in lower fuel consumption) as well as tyre noise.
The reinforced shoulders and blocks in the central part of the tread ensure excellent grip during sudden manoeuvres and when negotiating corners. They are also responsible for excellent steerability and problem-free lane stability. Wide longitudinal grooves meanwhile provide good water dispersal, which is especially important when driving in rain as it protects the car against skidding and minimises the risk of aquaplaning.
The P7 Cinturato is the first Pirelli tyre designed as part of the "Green Performance” project. According to the description of the range, the model limits its negative impact on the environment, whilst maintaining its safety parameters and optimal performance specifications. Pirelli is an Italian company, the fifth largest tyre manufacturer in the world. It is particularly well known for its tyres for sports cars. The company has its headquarters in Milan, the city where it was established in 1872.
