Nexen WINGUARD 231

3PMSF The presented tyre is marked with 3PMSF symbol (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake). It means that the tyre meets the EU requirements for winter tyres. The symbol is awarded after thorough tests of a tyre model in terms of snow grip.

Nexen WINGUARD 231 is an economy-class tyre that is designed for everyday driving in the winter season. This model features a directional tread pattern, which is often used by manufacturers because of its excellent properties on typical winter roads.

The Nexen WINGUARD 231 uses wide grooves to efficiently evacuate water from under the front tyres and provide quick drying of the tread. As a result, this decreases the risk of aquaplaning and the appropriate grip is maintained, regardless of the prevailing weather. All this makes it possible to improve safety and stability.

A modern rubber compound was used in the build to ensure the tyre remains flexible even in extreme cold. This improves the quality of driving and the car maintains the correct path when cornering and during sudden manoeuvres

Nexen WINGUARD 231 is engineered to have the optimum distribution of pressure acting on the tyre. As a result, the tread wears more slowly and evenly, and the tyre is enable to deliver a full performance throughout its lifespan. As a result of using a computer-designed tread pattern, the model emits low noise, which has shown to reduce driver fatigue on long journeys.

All this makes driving on Nexen WINGUARD 231 tyres as quiet and comfortable as possible. The tyre is a good solution for drivers who desire optimum performance, durability, safety and economical driving.

Nexen is a Korean company that specializes in the manufacture of economy class tyres. They are characterized by good performances on each type of surface, comfort of use, and a reasonable price. All this makes them admired by drivers around the world. The brand name is derived from two words next (next) and century (age), which are intended to reflect the company's philosophy involving establishing tyres corresponding to the needs of all drivers.

Unbalanced tires. Good in the snow and cold. Spike bags provided. Bad qualities in dry roads and wet (deciduous) Long braking distance. Diffuse steering. But comfortable and lasts forever. This is a real winter tires. As well in the snow. Otherwise unsatisfactory therefore not recommended. Read more Collapse
