Marangoni METEO HP

3PMSF The presented tyre is marked with 3PMSF symbol (Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake). It means that the tyre meets the EU requirements for winter tyres. The symbol is awarded after thorough tests of a tyre model in terms of snow grip.

Marangoni Meteo HP is a winter tyre designed for passenger cars and upper middle class cars with high power and engine capacity. The tread pattern is also available in a more powerful version for cars SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle). Marangoni is an Italian company that specializes in the production of durable, winter tyres. The tyre ensures optimal traction and manoeuvrability on all surfaces. The tyre works either on snowy or wet road. High adhesion ensures short braking distances, even at high speeds. In addition, the tyre provides comfort.

Marangoni Meteo HP is doing very well in winter conditions, especially in the climate in Central Europe. The modern tread pattern works on all surfaces. To ensure safety on wet roads, four longitudinal wide grooves were used. They guarantee the effective removal of slush and water from under the tyre. In addition, the rubber acts very well in low temperatures, retains appropriate softness. It is also durable, so that guarantees a very long mileage.

Marangoni Meteo HP works great with electronic traction control systems. Rugged design is adapted to drive at very high velocity, up to 240 km/h. For the production of the tyre’s tread Marangoni uses a blend of rubber based on natural oils (E + technology). At the same time the amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is reduced, so material is more environmentally friendly. The tyre is very well suited for everyday driving in city traffic and on the highway. In addition, it guarantees comfort comparable to highest quality tyres.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I bought these tires winter two years ago, driven by good price and, perhaps, the desire to take an Italian product. Sorry, but regretted it: for the first winter everything went well but, diaciamoci the truth, all winter tires are fine beginning! But when I reassembled for the second winter (they had more than 10,000 km), the problems began: I noticed a heavy degradation of adhesion and seal from the year before, especially relevant on the asphalt already only a little wet. In dry things go a bit 'better, but not by much, and not one who is stupid driving ... Add in the fact that my car is a Juliet, which in itself has basic good seal street, and draw your conclusions. I was deeply disappointed by these tires: I might as well buy some Chinese tires, I would have paid even less and would not have gone worse. Surely will buy more tires Marangoni: the fact that this is an Italian product is not enough to address the fact that this is shoddy tires, certainly the worst I've ever had (and I've changed a lot of brands ...) Opinion from outside the UK

I got these tires in compensation. Initially, I shot a little nose at "pasta", but now I can safely recommend them. Drive tires on the front axle of the BMW 530d. As for adhesion: the rear axle of sitting at the same time mounted as the new Bridgestone Blizzak LM30 and many times the car rotates or wanted to turn on wet or snow, or Marangoni have better traction. For dry or wet braking is better than the continentalach that I had previously. The downside is perceptible noise, solid construction and odd sizes. The tire is significantly narrower than my other tires in this size. About the sustainability of this ride on them already the third winter, I assume it only on the front axle, beat about 20 thousand miles and have not lost more than 2 mm in thickness of the tread. Opinion from outside the UK

This is not the latest Continental tires, but looking at the price, I can only recommend. Uses size 205/50R17 in the BMW e46. At the beginning of scared, because in dry conditions in ferreting felt a sharp bend, no but I wanted to go in the corner like a sports summer tire, then braked on a damp tarmac and the tires to slip. Currently, I am to Hawaii, snow and ice, and the tires excel great, no problems with moving off or braking. Great hold when cornering, the only problem when reversing, this is a slide. Tires great for true winter conditions, to this very quiet. Read more Collapse

I drive the tires already the second winter and I am with the quality despite initial concerns (to date the brand was not familiar to me) very happy. Before that I drove the Hankook brand icebaer. The move was good. The quality of the tire has convinced me. Price / performance ratio! Read more Collapse

Tire terrible! It should not be allowed to move. I had 4 pieces and keep my Mondeo was horrible in the wet and snow. After replacing 2 pcs Klebery had 2 pieces Marangoni enough and I could each take a turn sideways without manually. Zero grip. Nightmare! Read more Collapse
