Kormoran Snow is a winter tyre from the very popular economic tyre manufacturer. The main advantage of the model is its behaviour on wet and snow-covered surfaces. High aquaplaning resistance rates ensure safety in the harshest winter conditions. The special design of the tread with directional arrangement of irregular grooves drains pollutants from under the tyre well, preventing the channels from blocking.
A very dense network of sipes prevents the loss of grip on snow. The wavy construction "bites" into the snow, protecting against slipping. Extended barges provide appropriate contact surface with the road, optimising the traction pressure on the tread. The characteristic construction allows you to maintain high grip regardless of the condition of the road.
The strong point of the tyre is its modern rubber compound based on high-quality silica. It maintains adequate stiffness regardless of the current temperature. It does not stiffen under the influence of frost, undergo any deformation nor loses adhesion.
Kormoran is a brand well-known to drivers around the world. The producer of economy class range started its activity in 1961, with their first tyres entering the market 6 years later. Between 1992 and 1995, the brand became part of the Michelin group, receiving the technological and distribution support it needed to capture the global markets. Today, it is one of the most-chosen producers of the economy class range in the world.
