As I am commuting to London from Kent daily and doing quite a bit of touring during a year these tires are the best I came across. Especially performance in wet conditions. Drain covers on the road give me no more problems ( just the tires have to be warm). Tire wear is a bit quicker but keep in mind that it is very sticky when wormed up. Worth every penny. These are the best tyres I have had fitted to a bike. I ride all year round and these tyres keep on gripping even in the cold and wet. When most tyres would be feeling skittish and lacking grip, the PR4s just inspire confidence. Even having to ride (carefully!) over icy patches the other morning, they didn't slip. When the sun comes out they are still a really good tyre, maybe not quite as good as the top Sport Touring tyres, but very good all the same. PR4s work well right from cold. They give you loads of confidence in the wet as they grip very well without letting go. Dry they stick to the road like glue. I have used the PR3 in the past but the PR4 is better. Life is good and lasts longer than the Pirelli Diablo corsas I had on before. I got nearly double the mileage out of the PR4s. I would certainly buy this tyre again for sure. Read more Collapse
