Metzeler Roadtec Z6

Full disclosure I have always used Pilot Road 3's since getting my Thundercat 4 years ago. I've never had an issue with grip or cornering in dry or wet conditions. That was until I bought these. I've noted my Driving style as fast and dynamic - but due to these tyres it's more like calm because I can't ride the way I normally do on these tyres. Had zero confidence in corners in the blistering heat. To the point I was extremely anxious and reluctant to take my wife on the back. In the wet I would sometimes debate wither or not to even go a run because it seems more risk than it's worth. For the last 4 years I've ridden in all weather. Snow, Wind, Rain, etc etc - With absolutely no fear. Until I bought these tyres. They do the job in straight lines but certainly remove the fun of riding twisty bends - especially in the rain when I think about selling the bike as it is damn near unusable in the wet. I don't think I have even done 500 miles yet. I do about 4k a year. Won't be buying them again and will be going without tyres until I can afford my Pr 3s. Read more Collapse

During the first ride, I immediately noticeable is the improvement of adhesion, especially on sharp corners, especially on uneven surfaces do not feel the rocking motorcycle sideways - it is possible that it helps in the tread, which is quite prominent on the edge of the tire, which shows that we are free to swing . Value for money very beneficial. Truthfully, I did not notice negative behaviors on the road compared to my previous DUNLOP RoadSmart II. The only place where it does not work the mud, but on such surfaces is just the ankle and other off-road tires. I experienced literally slip once, at a temperature below 10 deg. The tire keeps very well on damaged asphalt does not give 100% sure, but only at high deflections. On wet pavement great. After more than 4000km tread looks like Nówka. The only thing that disappointed me after some 3000km cracks appeared on the side of the tire around the perimeter on both sides. No air escapes, nothing bad ever happens, but it looks pretty ugly. I'll say this, buying a motorcycle I appreciated the old (3 years) tires for one more season driving. Before leaving the holiday (about 2300 km) I stated that if I cash it might be a new Slippers ... Great tyre, gives advice on wet and dry asphalt. Very stable handling at high speeds, there is no effect nosing. In turn keeps nicely direction and there is no noticeable effect righting. I had the opportunity to test oponką in the pouring rain and also very positive. This is my second tyre and probably not the last. Definitely worth it. Read more Collapse

Z6 hold the parameters even at low temperatures (beginning / end of season) and guarantee high mileage despite moto weight (330kg) and large one-off distances. Very good, versatile tourist sports tires for every road conditions. The BT56 battlaxów likened to a great hold on the gas at the exit of turn, even in the wet. Warm the fast and give a sense of a hold after taking a short distance. Tyre wear very quiet with more dynamic driving style. Read more Collapse

Considering that I have only driven on this tyre for a short distance to date I will reserve my opinion for now except to say that it appears to be a good quality tyre for the price and I am hoping that I will get good mileage froim it in time. Read more Collapse

I am not a supporter of law enforcement agencies around the city. Tires on a quiet, sensible driving are stable and have a good grip. Unfortunately, recently I noticed that out of them fairly quickly air - but it can issue the assembly? Read more Collapse

I would recommend to anyone. Best keeping particularly at lower temperatures and wet conditions. As for heavy equipment (340kg) do well and wear and tear is satisfactory -25 thousand. km in the season strong. Read more Collapse
