Michelin CITY GRIP features

Michelin City Grip is a summer motorcycle tyre designed for scooters with average engine power. It is the right choice for vehicles with engine capacity of 125cc or more. This flagship model of the French manufacturer is designed primarily for people who wish to safely and comfortably move around the city traffic. City Grip features innovative progressive grooves made with PST technology (Progressive Sipe Technology). The tyre has an extensive system of full-depth cuts. Regardless of the wear, it provides the highest level of efficiency in removing water almost its entire lifespan. The tyre easily evacuates water from under the wheels of the vehicle while driving. The number of grooves responsible for optimum grip on wet roads increases when the scooter leans while cornering. Thus, travelling with Michelin’s scooter tyres is highly secure, regardless of weather conditions. Additional proof of the high quality of the product is that the tyre is fitted as standard on more than 69 scooter models. Leading global manufacturers of scooters awarded it with 35 approvals. Michelin City Grip is offered in a wide range of sizes to fit most scooters available on the market. It is produced in more than 20 sizes ranging from 12 to 16 inches. Recently, the company launched a "Winter" version of the tyre.

Probably Michelin CITY GRIP is the best one I've had so far. I've used also Michelin motorcycle tyres and I'm satisfied. My driving style is often very aggressive on the borders of grip and control (fan of motorcycle racing and automotive). In order to illustrate how good those tyres are I've made 2 tests. One of them is: I'm speeding somewhere far from the city on the field or something where I have some asphalt road lenght at least of 200 meters. This way I'm trying to check the grip and handling. The second one is on the asphalt with temperature about 20- 25 degrees and it lets me check how quickly the tyre warms. All in all Michelin CITY GRIP is one of the best.

Michelin CITY GRIP is really good in terms of handling. On different types of surfaces I've never lost control under my vehicle. It doesn't matter whether it is wet or dry. You can have a king of confidence using those tyres 'cause even on fast corners you can have feeling like the bike was sticked to the ground. I'm very pleased with them. Finally I can drivein almost al conditions without worrying about the grip and I'm not afraid to make fast turns. If you've made 2000 miles without noticing any tread wear makrs you know that it's the good one.

Honda Scooter Pantheon 150. They work very well. Perfect grip on dry and great water draining on wet. Good on cornering thanks to special rubber compound on edges. Michelin CITY GRIP is the best for city driving in my opinion. I could try to compare them to my previous tyres but none was as good. The only drawback is that you can someimes feel your bike shimmy but really rarely.

It's the third set I have on my vehicle now and after 3 months I can sat that it's the best one so far. Perfect grip and handling. I'd like to try something else in the future but i think nothing can be better than Michelin CITY GRIP. The best one so far.

Brought these as an upgrade for the nylon tyres that came on my bike. The differance was impressive. They grip really well on the wet country roads and have a nice stable feel to them when leaning. Would buy again.
