The regulations allow different tyres to be combined, provided they are identical on one axle. This means that you can fit two pairs of tyres, different for the front and rear of the vehicle. However, we do not recommend mixing tyre types on 4x4 vehicles.
Mixing tyres for different seasons is not recommended due to unpredictable behaviour in the event of sudden manoeuvres. If you have a four-wheel drive car, we strongly advise against combining different tyres. This could lead to damage to the transmission system due to overloading.
