175/60 R13 tyres are produced with city cars and family cars in mind. The size of the tyre can be seen on its side. It is provided in a string of numbers, e.g. 175/60 R13. The first number informs about the tread width of the tyre, in this case it is 175 millimetres. The second number is the tyre's profile height which constitutes 60% of its tread width (60% out of 175 mm). The number 13 in the 175/60 R13 tyre constitutes the diameter of the wheel rim (provided in inches) on which the tyre should be installed. The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
