Maxxis M8060 Trepador

I had the unpleasant surprise when I had this tyre mounted on the rims that an inner tube is required. This was not indicated when the tyre was sold. This makes the 4 tyres 120 EUR more expensive. And waste of time, after disassembling the wheels the mechanic realised that a tube is required, then the tubes had to be ordered and returned a second time for fitting. Not many kilometres have been covered (just over 2,500) and I was worried by a bad review for their behaviour in the wet. My impression is positive even in the wet, as long as you don't overdo it at high speeds, and excellent off-road, even with a full load. Read more Collapse

When I used the 4 new tyres for the first time, after less than three kilometres, a branch went through the shoulder of one of the tyres. I had read everywhere that they are almost puncture proof. This area seems to be very soft when removing the tyre. Result, new tyre Read more Collapse
