Good grip in dry and wet - surprisingly good grip in snow. But what makes these tires great is 3 things:
1. Consistency - they're above average to good in all conditions
2. Predictability - when pushed they behave in a very predictable way.
3. They're just a bit more than really cheap tires, while performing very nearly as well as expensive ones.
BTW. I use them as all season tires winter and summer.
Fitted to a gently driven car. Slight hum on smooth surfaces but not intrusive. Much better on muddy roads and tracks than the standard "Eco" tyres. Just what we bought them for.
The price and performance are pretty good. One difference between Maxxis - AP2 All Season and products of top quality manufactured is higher fuel consumption. I recommend .
I’m very happy with the tires. I will buy another set of tire to my car from you . Thank you and appreciate doing business with you. Sincerely, Gabriel Popescu.
I would like to recommend these tires. It does not make noise and have a good performance on wet and normal condition.
Maxxis AP2 All Season 225/55 R16 99 V XL
The all-season tyre Maxxis AP2 AllSeason is a good option for car owners looking for a dependable and reliable solution for every season. Thanks to its unique structure, it will perform beautifully in city traffic, providing stable performance and great traction.
The Maxxis AP 2 AllSeason model has a directional tread pattern, that swiftly expels water and snow in autumn and winter conditions. “V”-shaped grooves, supported by a system of horizontal sipes quickly remove all accumulating liquids and dry the tread.
Improved driving stability – resulting from the use of modern technologies used by the company to create its products. The reinforced shoulders don't deform even under high loads, and the double belting supports the tyre's structure, ensuring a longer lifespan without any decrease in safety.
The Maxxis company is available to customers in more than 130 countries. Tyres by this Asian corporation are often chosen by drivers due to the optimal price-quality ratio of its products.
Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
