Information on the tyre:
Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse is the successor of Dunlop SP Sport Fastresponse. Compared to the previous model, Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse ensures a 30% higher fuel saving! If we compare this model to the tyres of competitive brands, Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse features a braking distance shorter by 2.8 metres on wet and by 3 metres on dry surfaces!
Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse is a tyre that will delight drivers who value top quality and maximum performance on any surface. The model was made using a special polymer compound which guarantees a very good grip. The excellent parameters shown on wet roads are facilitated by the wide grooves located in the central part of the tread which are responsible for water drainage and eliminate the risk of aquaplaning. The tread features an asymmetric pattern which is the perfect solution for variable weather conditions, enabling the tyre to behave well on both dry and on wet surfaces.
Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse was developed using ecological solutions. The structure of the tyre helps reduce fuel consumption and, consequently, therefore limiting its CO2 footprint. This is supported by its aerodynamic shape and the compound that reduces the amount of heat emitted. With Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse, the drive becomes more comfortable and convenient.
Its greatest asset is its low noise level. This is made possible by the closed grooves located in the tyre shoulder, which dampen the noise generated by the tyre and at the same time reduce the sounds coming from the outside. Thanks to the flattened tread profile, the model offers a larger area of tyre-surface contact. This provides better stability and helps maintain the driving track. One interesting innovation here is the use of a multi-angled tread which, by employing 10 different radiuses, ensures a higher driving precision and results in better driver control over the vehicle when cornering.
Dunlop is a British company owned by Goodyear. Its name comes from the surname of John Dunlop who invented the first pneumatic tyre. Dunlop is the main tyre brand taking part in the famous 24-hour Le Mans race. The company supplies high-end (HP and UHP) tyres intended for the most demanding drivers.

I have Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse from April 2013 and I have to admit that they surprised me pleasantly. I was a little worried by selecting Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse because it is new on the market and we all know how it happens sometimes. Recently I had an emergency braking on dry surface, the brake was pressed to the ground and with all the strength tyres made a sound only once at the end of braking, I thought something was wrong and went to the station to examine brakes, it turned out that everything is normal. Certainly braking on dry surface on Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse I estimate at 6 +.
Compared to the second Michelin Primacy HP the Dunlop SP Sport Blueresponse keeps much better on dry or wet surface. It is hard to use ABS under relatively normal driving . Quiet and comfortable, there is nothink wrong with the tyres. In contrast, rolling resistance is a different story.Tyres with index B for fuel consumption takes average 0.5l of petrol more than a tyre with an index E regardless of whether the city or the route. So in my opinion there must be somethink wrong with the Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse becouse even on Michelin winter tyres car uses less petrol than on Dunlops.
I would recommend Dunlop 195/65/15 Sport BlueResponse. I drove on the tyres about 3000miles, 75% outside and 25% in the city. Dunlops SP Blueresponse did not disappoint me. When driving into puddles of rain does not change the track and does not get aquaplaning. Im very happy with them. The noise level is almost imperceptible. The rolling resistance and fuel consumption dropped to about 6.2 when before was 7 liters per 62miles on the highway. Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse are fit to Renault Laguna Estate 1.6 16v
The Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse are very good tyres on dry and wet roads. Quiet and good for drive under the potholes. I do not have any objections for Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse. Previously driving on Michelin Energy but Dunlops are certainly not worst, and on wet surface and in terms of noise - better.Durability and failure I cant judge yet becouse I drove on them only 10.000 miles, so it is difficult to express my honest opinion . In my opinion, the Dunlops SP Sport Blueresponse are worth recommending.
The first time I bought Dunlop SP Sport Blueresponse tyres and im very happy, In the past I have used tyres from different manufacturers but Dunlop provides a pleasant driving experience. The Dunlop SP Sport Blueresponse keeps vehicle on a dry surface very well, but in the wet its just perfect. The tyres are quiet and the car simply flows on them. I highly recommend tyre DUNLOP SP SPORT BLURESPONSE.I was waiting for such a good tyres :)
