Bridgestone LM25

3PMSF

The tyre meets the European Union's requirements for winter tyres

Carries the 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Flake) symbol, which is awarded after the model in question has been thoroughly tested for snow grip.

Reliability, outstanding characteristics on any surface and comfortable driving are the outstanding features of the Bridgestone LM25. It was designed for drivers who place importance on maximum performance, safe handling in any weather and dynamic, sporty driving.

Thanks to the use of a flexible compound that maintains its properties even at extremely low temperatures, the tyre is ideal for driving in changeable conditions. The engineers who designed the tyre also went to a great deal of effort to ensure an optimum distribution of forces. This ensures that the tread wears slowly, and users of the Bridgestone LM25 can benefit from a full range of performance values over its service life. The tyre shoulders and central parts have been reinforced in order to guarantee improved driving stability and smoothness. This also guarantees a more dynamic drive and faster response to the driver's movements. The system of circumferential and side grooves ensures that water and slush are effectively evacuated from under the tyre, thus reducing the risk of aquaplaning and guaranteeing a high level of driving safety regardless of the weather. The three-dimensional blades on the tyre blocks help to improve grip on straight roads, when cornering and during dynamic manoeuvres. The Bridgestone LM25 also features reduced tyre noise. The use of an optimised compound and specially profiled tread grooves means that the Bridgestone LM25 rapidly mutes any tyre noise during driving, ensuring a quiet journey.

Bridgestone is one of the world's largest tyre manufacturing groups, and specialises in the manufacture of premium-range tyres. It is known for unsurpassed manufacturing quality, outstanding performance and safe driving regardless of the weather. In addition to its eponymous brand, Bridgestone also owns companies such as: Firestone, Road King, Seiberling, Peerless, Dayton and Gillette. The group owns over 100 production facilities around the world.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I'm a bit disappointed - it's a good expression of what I'm thinking about Bridgestone LM25 tyres. I drive an old Ford Mondeo V6, which means I have a heavy car with stiff suspension and 170 horsepower. Heavy front, light rear. Every year I do about 55 000 miles, 20 to 25 000 of which i do on winter tyres. I always use your reviews to some extent, so I'll also try to write objectively. Previously I used Michellin tyres on my car and they were too soft in the corners, they continuously looked as not inflated properly, but I have to admit that the driving comfort was great. Continentals were also good, but wore off quickly. Then I fitted the Dunlop Winter Sport M3s. Unfortunately, they were loud, but sensational on the snow. Hard sidewalls and soft tread. Excellent in slush and other unusual situations. Bridgestones behave worse on snow and slush, and in the ruts filled with water. On ice it is commonly known that any tyre without spikes is not good! They are better than Dunlop on dry and wet, but clean surfaces. If anyone hesitates whether to buy Bridgestones or Debicas, Barums or Savas, then they shouldn't, because these are much better tyres for decent money. However, if someone has a powerful car, then they better buy soe premium class tyres. As for me, I'm going to get back to Dunlops. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I got the tyres with the car and it was the first time I had to deal with the winter Bridgestones. Previously I had Goodyear Ultra Grip 7 which were sensational so I have some basis for a comparison and I can say that I didn't have many opportunities to test the tyres in fresh snow or in snowy alleys as it was mainly dry and wet and I think the situation will stay like that as it's getting warmer :) I went out on a longer route and I had a strange feeling that driving a car with a heavy engine and a front wheel drive in a corner at speed of 50-55 MPH on our damp roads on Bridgestone LM25 caused a strange lack of trust in the grip of my car in such a corner. I try to be objective because I use this service not for the first time, and opinions about the tyres partially determine my choice. I haven't seen these tyres in any tyre service in my town and I'll tell you that I do not regret because I wouldn't choose it for myself, instead I'd buy Ultra Grip 7s. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Bridgestone LM25 is a tyre which can be rather recommended, particularly to people who live in mountain towns where snowfalls are quite heavy. In such conditions, it performs the best (fresh, soft, compressed or deep snow). On dry and wet it performs rather well. it also handles pretty well on ice, if we remember that it's not a spiked tyre. I've been using them for the second season now. I think that I'll be able to use them for three or four more seasons, so I'am satisfied with them.. To sum up - Bridgestone LM25 is worth recommending. The tougher the conditions, the more it's worth buying. Especially if you live in mountain areas where winter falls are heavy. People in larger cities would be recommending it less - as there are tyres with lower rolling resistance and noise level on the market. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Bridgestone LM25 are good tyres, I think so because I don't have any good comparisons with other tyre models and the car has ESP and ABS, so it's difficult to say to what extent does the electronics help and when it's the credit of the tyre. The most important thing is that they handle great on snow and in uphill, many vehicles had to have snow chains fitted and I didn't have to. There's quite a noise heard on the expressway, I think it's because of the ice near the wheels and snow on the road, normally no such noise is heard. generally speaking, I got the tyres for a good price and I am very satisfied and I recommend :). When it comes to re-purchasing the tyres, it all depends on the price, reviews and parameters as new tyre models appear. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Bridgestone LM25 are excellent tyres, comparable to Michelin Pilot Alpin 2s and they are much cheaper. I bought the tyres at the beginning of season 2005/2006. The first thing that surprised me in a positive way was the noise level - it's not significantly higher than the one of factory summer Michelin Pilot Primacy tyres. The tyres never failed me on snow - I was able to get out of the biggest snow drifts. I was also able to stop on ice and start off in practically all conditions, and that means a lot. On wet and dry pavement they behave almost the same as summer ones. After a season practically no visible signs or tread wear. I definitely recommend Bridgestone LM25 :-) Read more Collapse

These are true winter tyres! Do you know why? Because as the years wear off and stick to the winter :). Ridden on Kleberach Krisalp third They were not bad, soft, but flew head over heels. And nothing besides. These tyres are really great. On the rear axle is 2 mm wear! What to hold, great for dry, even better in the wet .. and the snow and ice that are spikes. Gentlemen, on every tyre you just go otherwise. Are good, maybe even very on snow and ice, but I have no comparisons. Previously ridden Italian front. Certainly a heap again. I do not demand anything more from winter tyres. Yours. Read more Collapse

Overall, a good tyre, but far removed from the Fulda, which drove the previous car. It may do well Bridgestone F1 track, but the Polish uneven, partly snow-covered and icy roads did not match the German oponkom yet. On the ice, there is indeed strong, but what it represents Bridgestone failure. Behave worse than Michelin summer under the same conditions. What to wear it for about 600 km clashed so-called rubber lugs, so the promise that it will be resistant tyres, the noise is definitely surprising. There are faint and give a pleasant experience. Great tyre, 205/55/16, the BMW 320 Touring, no problems at start (with enabled DSC), driven 2 seasons - practically zero wear a tyre on snow, slush. High comfort - despite inequality does not choose a fixed alignment suspension, low rolling resistance, volume - depends on damp car - for me there is a little "chatter" from outside at higher speeds in dry conditions - IMPORTANT - it depends on the type of asphalt / paving. In general, it is not loud, and the sound you hear is rather pleasant category - it is not disruptive. Tyre helpful. Read more Collapse

Excellent tyres. I passed on the opinion of a friend, .. who risked his knowledge. He drove in his career on all high-end brands. Really objectively say that the Japanese pozytwnie surprised me. Keeping the snow, no matter what the conditions-cool. held on mountain roads like a super-glue. In dry conditions .. comfort and quiet (comparable to summer Michelkami, which I have). No comments grip traction. Maybe trche worse rolling resistance compared to the GY UG, which I had previously. For me the world's best!! Read more Collapse

On average, the snow is doing, Debica Furio is definitely better. But in the wet, slush and dry asphalt is pretty good. If you live in the mountains, where snow is kopny I can safely recommend it.
