General GRABBER AT

Tyre details: General GRABBER AT is a modern economy-class tyre designed for 4x4 vehicles. The model ensures a stable and smooth drive both in the city and on longer, more demanding routes. The optimised grooves of the symmetric tread efficiently drain water from the crown ply, ensuring effective drying of the tyre. This helps to reduce the risk of aquaplaning which poses a large threat to driving safety.

The model is based on a compound enriched by silica, which gives excellent durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The compound also allows the maintenance of appropriate flexibility of the structure, no matter the temperature. The even distribution of pressures acting against General GRABBER AT means that its tread wears slowly and evenly. As a result, the driver can enjoy the tyre's full performance throughout its life regardless of the mileage. The compound is also lightweight, which allows for the reduction of rolling resistance. This translates into a lower fuel consumption and CO2footprint. All this makes the tyre more durable and the drive is more cost-efficient. The manufacturer has also improved the driver-tyre communication which has favourably affected the driving track precision and comfort. General GRABBER AT is the perfect solution for all the drivers who expect their 4x4 vehicle tyres to ensure a balanced performance on any type of surface as well as reliability.

General is an American brand providing the market with economy-class tyres with an affordable price, optimum parameters and extended durability. Thanks to the modern production technologies and the use of innovative materials, General is recognised by drivers all over the world. The company offers a range of tyres for different types of vehicles, intended both for the summer and winter season.

I am very happy with these tyres, only fault i've had is i had cracks appear in 2 of them on the side walls so they had to be replaced, but i have had no further problems. I have gotten up hills that others with mud terrains have struggled. I would recommend them, i know a few people that have them and they have had no faults with them. They are a good all round tyre. This is a great AT tyre that behaves very well on the road. I would say the tyre is a 50/50 road off road tyre. It is great in heavy rain, snow etc. The tread design does decrease the mpg but the tread pattern makes this tyre look fantastic. I had them fitted to my Range Rover as my winter wheels. Highly recommended, good looking tyre Read more Collapse

I bought four to replace budget brand tyres, using the car as a family car, towing and light off road use. I am very happy with all aspects of the performance of the tyre. I noticed a slight increase in noise but no increase in fuel consumption . Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

The deep sand wet or dry good traction and not buried. The clay is sized tread but pulls better than szosówka. On the rocks is much more resistant to the intersection of szosówki (tested on shale rock in the Caucasus). The only road tested to 180km / h - holding well, a little front began to hum because got "teeth" probably from off-road driving at reduced pressure. The racial roadster aggressive enough. The passenger car completely pointless. The RangeRover, ML'a, Touareg, X5, Q7, Jeep and other SUVs better to drive in the area, and at the same time without losing the good properties of the road is the tire is the right one. Quite well be undertaking the tire when it comes to light the area. I have never failed. The only drawback it, it is quite loud, and feel little rolling resistance when driving on the highway. (Normal, that AT). However, the highway and the 140 is not a problem. No floats and good brakes in the wet. In the winter, cool it behaves. On the snowy road, mud, and gravel have no problems. Generally, I recommend only is quite loud. Read more Collapse

tested in the field and on long motorway stretches. Quite durable tire, do not rub off quickly, not squealing around corners, tolerates wet surfaces and deep puddles, not slips and good brakes. I'm happy with these tires. the only drawback is the small pebbles in the tread, from time to time make noise when you drive on asphalt, but after a while flying out the same. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Tires because of the fact that the car is more on the road than in the area have been matched well, no noise on the black, quite pleasant parameters of braking and traction. The "area" to which they were taken, or access to the site, the river etc are ok. Delicate AT nothing more nothing to me. I would recommend for such applications. Read more Collapse

Tires have 3 summer season, the greater the consumption of the louder. In the field, the type of woods, fields excel very well. In the wet you have to watch, like a ślizgnąć. On the ice like going on the ice, but in deep snow / slush OK. If not for the volume would buy again, while I wonder about the others. Read more Collapse
