Yokohama Blue Earth AE01 165/65 R14 79 T

A lot of thought over the purchase of new tires for my 19-year-old Citroen ZX, or leave old almost worn out or buy a new one. After reading the reviews chose the Yokohama BluEarth. I'll say this ... I drove many cars missions (Fiat Punto Godyearach GT-2, Megane III Pirelli and Fiat Grande Punto on some Firestonach). All of these tires compared to the not wash their Yokohama. The first impression is the silence, the silence even at speeds of 110 - 130 km / h, you can only hear the sound of the air, running the engine and suspension performance, the second is a very low rolling resistance (feel both the released gas at idle and in neutral). You feel as if you sailed a boat on the water with the wind in the back, I could not believe how far you can get on a "neutral" Low pressure also feel on the steering wheel - I have no support and the wheel spins a lot easier. No problems with grip in the dry and only wheelspin on greasy roads occasionally when setting off. Rear tyres have covered over 20,000 miles easily, fronts have just finished. Noise is fine and as only tyres I've had on this car, can't compare comfort. Read more Collapse

In May, I changed the worn-out Continentale Premium Contact 2 at Yokohama. The difference in noise level is truly noticeable - both in the city and on the highway. There are no adhesion problems, or on dry or wet. I am not able to assess the improvement in combustion, because the car is increasingly turning to my wife, and her driving style is completely different. But I do know that the average consumption is not deteriorated. It's hard to judge the durability after all this time, but there is no wear on the tires. Visually, the tread pattern is just a normal, so do not judge something very positive or negative.
