Bought on recommendation of a friend. The tires have been brilliant for the cold/ wet weather and occasional snow. I noticed immediate difference in breaking in the cold - it improved. And while only had a chance to use them once properly in the snow, the tires performed brilliantly. They are not the cheapest, but seem to be well made, do not wear hard and work well. the only downside as with any winter tyre is that they are a bit loud but not by much compared to my summer tires.

Completely sold on the winter tyre.Very happy with the Nokian choice and got them with fitting for £400 all in.Excellant grip and extra confidence in bad conditions.Wouldn't be without them.
I've never had better winter tyres. Wear rate seems good, and the softer rubber gives a more comfortable ride.
Would recommend to anyone. Will consider the all season tyre for other cars we have.

Tires recommendable. So far, one winter does not fault anything. Winter may not was a knock but once you hit the snow and slush were doing fine. Distance traveled 5000km had no effect on consumption - tread like new. In summary I recommend, I think that the quality is excellent in porówenaniu for money.
Nokian WR D3 225/45 R17 91 H
Technical description: The Nokian WR D3 is a tyre that is not only popular with drivers, but which is also regularly given the highest ratings in professional tyre tests. This tyre model has been specially designed for small and medium-sized family cars. The tyre ensures very good grip and excellent performance in any winter conditions.
The Nokian WR D3 is primarily noted for its excellent protection against any hazards on wet, dry and any other types of surface, including muddy tracks. The model effectively protects against aquaplaning and snowplaning (loss of grip on wet and snowy roads).
The special Slush Blower transverse groove technology means that it maintains excellent grip, even in the most difficult conditions. The grooves are responsible for dispersing water and slush from under the tyre surface. Numerous blades ensure optimal grip. Alongside these safety features, the tyre also offers low rolling resistance, thus substantially reducing fuel consumption and protecting the environment.
The tyre's Silent Sidewall technology means that the tyre offers a genuinely comfortable driving experience. This solution absorbs vibrations and noise caused whilst driving, making the tyre quiet both inside and outside the car. The model features a tread wear indicator which lets the driver continually monitor the tyre's condition.
Information about the manufacturer: Nokian is a Finnish manufacturer of premium tyres. Nokian products are the result of years of research and testing in the most severe conditions. The company produces tyres for passenger cars, off-road vehicles, tractors, buses, lorries and forestry machinery. Nokian is primarily known as a market leader in excellent quality winter tyres, which undergo rigorous performance tests in the north of Europe. All Nokian tyres are noted for their ability to adapt to any type of surface.
Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.
Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.
Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
