nokian is to be a multi-season tyre. I have not driven yet in winter but a multi-season tyre behaves like a winter tyre used in the summer. good grip, quiet tyre, perfectly suppressing vibrations while driving, the tyre is aesthetic, nokian replaced me with multi-season hard and very loud goodyear tyres. The car's power dropped by 20% due to rolling resistance, the consumption of 6.5 liters increased to 7.5 liters. I recommend tyres for driving on poor surfaces, they are soft and perfectly damp vibrations.

hello to all undecided people like me! after buying the tyres I went straight to the mountains to check them in the snow and it turned out that my friend (opponent of all-season tyres) could not believe how I drive up a steep parking lot on a dirt road where there was a lot of snow. he did not agree with the purchase, but he said nothing at all: D on the asphalt very good and quiet. I will also buy them for my wife's car

Good all season option in Scotland- we do wet, occasional snow and ice and never hot..... so a “winter” tyre that is ok in “summer” temperatures makes more sense than an all year “summer” tyre that is ok in the winter

I am writing this review after covering almost 3000km with these tyres. The tyres are perfect in the dry and also in the wet. You don't even notice that the car has four season tyres. I recommend this tyre 100%

As it is July I have not been able to test in Snow andSlush. Very good Tyres will certainly buy again if the wear-rate is good

Product description

Nokian WeatherProof 185/65 R15 88 T

Safety in winter and precision in summer. This is how we can sum up the Nokian WeatherProof. The tyre is classed as a premium tyre and guarantees optimal performance.

The model features a directional tread pattern. This solution ensures a good performance in both winter and summer conditions. Nokian has adapted its WeatherProof model to the climate of Central and Eastern Europe. If you're looking for stability on snow, good slush dispersal and grip on dry surfaces, then take a look at this tyre.

Its performance in winter conditions has been tested in Ivalo (north of the Arctic Circle), while its performance at high speeds has been put to the test on tracks in German and Spain.

Every element of the Nokian WeatherProof has a special role to play. The aggressive central part of the tread disperses slush and water, giving the driver control over the vehicle on the most difficult road conditions. Blades that bite into the snow also help improve grip, meaning that the car drives well and brakes faster on slippery roads. Wide and deep grooves protect against aquaplaning and slushplaning.

The durable and flexible rubber compound used is another important element of the Nokian WeatherProof, helping the tyre maintain good grip across a wide range of temperatures and ensuring that it is resistant to wear, even when driving in extreme heat.

The Nokian WeatherProof is also available in versions for SUVs and vans.

Nokian Tyres is a Finnish tyre manufacturer. It has been in operation for over 90 years and has already managed to cement its place in motoring history. One of its biggest successes was the introduction of the winter tyre. Nokian Tyres produces tyres that perform exceptionally well in difficult weather conditions, making the brand most popular in Northern Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and North America. Nokian Tyres is associated first and foremost with winter tyres, but the brand also produces excellent summer and all-season tyres.

The Nokian WeatherProof tyre in size 185/65 R15 88 T, according to the manufacturer's information, has the following drivability qualities:

  • C
  • A
  • 68 dB
C A 68 dB

Fuel efficiency (rolling distance)

Fuel efficiency is rated from A to G on a colour-coded scale. The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.

Wet grip

Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.

Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
