Tires drive on the front axle. We highly appreciate their suppression of inequality, according to me are quite soft and comfortable (compared to eg the A-Drive Yokohama or Pirelli P-3000). But during dynamic cornering long that the tire cornering feel tight bends, just with a quick change of direction. After driving several thousand km in the city you can be seen mostly moderate tread wear, side panels passed a few scrapes the curb and lifted it without prejudice. On wet tires at highway speeds do not inspire much confidence, feel that they do not keep up with the discharge of water, but when we use primarily in check very well. We plan to also buy them on the second axis when the "run" up to date.

Not good i had a garage look at the tyres within a week of fitting them as the traction control kept activating when cornering. It was suggested that a poorly cured rubber may be the problem as there were obvious signs of the tread 'feathering'. It was suggested that this may have caused the traction control to activate as the cars brain would think that the car was skidding when cornering. Now, 9,000 miles in....the wear has shown heavily at the centre and inside edge of the tyre. I check pressures regularly (they are not over inflated) and the tracking has been checked and is fine. Shockingly, today I discovered the tyre wire is now showing, making theatres both illegal and dangerous. Not confidence inspiring for a family car. Very poor quality tyre.....the worst I've had, even when compared to some real budget tyres purchased a few years back.

Nokian Line was bought and fitted in April 2013. First 300 miles was very unstable and I felt like floating. After beating 300 miles Nokian Line became quite silent and comfortable, but without excitation. Good behaviour on straight and bands on dry and wet. Less stable on bands, efficient on dry. Generally soft and comfortable but without sport character. And now the best part: after making 15000 miles in one season with 70-80 mphs tread at 6mm but in the rear 3.5mm. Nokian Line is a premium class with one season durability. Total failure despite the good things I’ve written at the beginning. I have driven different tyres like: Yokohama, Dunlop, Goodyear and even Fulda on the same car. I guess that the manufacturer mixed up the compounds: he gave winter mixture instead of summer. If you like to buy one season tyre – consider Nokian Line.

Product description

Nokian Line 175/65 R15 84 H

The Nokian Line is a state-of-the-art tyre which makes the perfect choice for even the most demanding of drivers. The central rib of the Nokian Line features Cross-Block Sipes close to the outer shoulder, which work together with the stiffer rib to provide stability. They ensure soft road contact for the outer section while reducing rolling resistance (and therefore fuel consumption) and increasing driving comfort.

To prevent aquaplaning, separate Swoop Grooves are also shaped in the transversal main grooves on the outer shoulder. These elliptical slots store more water, increasing the volume of the grooves. The shape ensures that the firm tyre has excellent wet grip, even when worn.

The carefully chosen compound guarantees vehicle stability at high speeds and in unexpected road situations, as well as reducing fuel consumption by lowering rolling resistance. The Nokian Line features a tread wear indicator.

Nokian

Nokian is a Finnish-owned tyre manufacturer which was founded in 1932 and has been operating in its current form since 1988. It is a subsidiary of Nokia, the famous mobile phone manufacturer. The brand's range includes not only tyres for passenger cars, but also for vans, 4x4 vehicles, lorries, bicycles and agricultural and forestry vehicles. Nokian tyres are designed for weather conditions similar to those encountered in Scandinavia, and can therefore handle the weather changes so familiar to Polish drivers. Nokian tyres are premium-range, high-performance tyres.

Nokian Line summer tyre is classified as premium tyre, which means that it provides modern technology and maximum performance.

Fuel efficiency (rolling distance)

The highest fuel efficiency rating is A (green; the lowest rolling resistance), while the lowest fuel efficiency rating is G (red; the highest rolling resistance). Rolling resistance influences fuel consumption and vehicle emissions; the lower the resistance, the lower the fuel consumption and exhaust fume emissions.

Wet grip

Wet grip is the tyre's ability to adhere to the road surface in wet conditions. The EU rating focuses only on the wet braking performance of the tyre. Wet grip is rated from A to G, where A represents the best braking performance and G represents the worst. It is one of the most crucial safety parameters.

Noise

Tyres contribute to the amount of noise a vehicle generates. Choosing a tyre with a good noise rating will lower the impact of your driving on the surrounding environment.
